Southern Oregon Beekeepers Association is a non-profit organization committed to education about honeybees and beekeeping and sharing this passion with our community in Southern Oregon's Jackson County and Josephine County.

Join SOBA:

Basic Membership in the Southern Oregon Beekeepers Association (SOBA) is $20 per adult per year. Join fellow beekeepers and aspiring beekeepers at the monthly meetings. Each meeting starts at 5:00pm, with an informal time to socialize and meet other beekeepers and may include a potluck or eating together. General membership meeting may feature a guest speaker and is open for beekeeping questions from the audience to be answered by experienced local beekeepers.

opportunity to join the swarm team
opportunity to meet beekeeping mentors
opportunity to join the extraction (cut outs) team
access to our lending library
volunteer outreach opportunities throughout the valley
being a member of a great community of beekeepers in the southern Oregon area

Southern Oregon Beekeepers Association meets on the first TUESDAY of April at SOREC at 569 Hanley Road in Central Point, OR 97502. Meetings are on the first MONDAY of May, June, July, and August at the same location.
