SOBA December Meeting

The Schedule: 

5:00pm The auditorium opens. Merch and Lending Library setup. Potluck setup by the sink area

5:15-6:00pm Black Jar honey entries and setup for honey tasting 

Outreach Fair setup:

  • Bee School Planning - donation & raffle coordinators, students coordinator, speaker coordinator, hive check coordinators,  social media and public relations coordinators 
  • Community Outreach including schools, field trips, Rogue Farm Tour, and Rogue Farm to School program 
  • Jackson County Fair Honey and Hive competition and volunteers 
  • Josephine County Fair Honey and Hive Products competition and volunteers 
  • Children's Festival volunteers 
  • Oregon Honey and Mead Festival volunteers 
  • Oregon State Fair Honey and Hive Products competition 
  • Oregon State Beekeepers Conference - SOBA representation
6:30-730pm Black Jar honey tasting competition in conjunction with volunteer tables. 

730-830pm Social Hour


 Southern Oregon Beekeepers Association meets on the first TUESDAY of  April at SOREC at 569 Hanley Road in Central Point, OR 97502. Meetings are on the first MONDAY of May, June, July, and August at the same location.
