5:00PM - SOBA meetings are open to the public. The auditorium opens at 5pm and experienced beekeepers will be available to answer beekeeping questions and chat about bees and beekeeping equipment. Helpers are needed to work together to set up for the meeting. All are welcome to bring a potluck dish or a meal to eat before the meeting begins. Plates and utensils will be provided. The Extension kitchen is not available for our use, however there are plug-ins available near the sink area in the auditorium.
6:20 PM - Weather permitting, we will begin hive demonstrations in the apiary. Please wear a veil or bee suit. Hive demonstrations last about 45 minutes.
7:30 PM - Membership meeting begins. Questions from the audience will be answered by President Noah Clipp. For September, the election of officers will be the main topic. These are your candidates:
President: Leslie Lundgren;
Vice-President Nominees: Murl Ming, Tristen Tartaglia, Kenny Olmstead, and Dan Ryan;
Secretary: Ginny Berner;
Treasurer: Barbara Watson;
Education Outreach Jena Harris
