Summer Bee School

Registration

  • OSU Research Associate, Carolyn Breece, will be the keynote speaker for Summer Bee School 2025. She will focus on brood diseases and how to deal with those.

    Carolyn Breece is a research associate with the OSU Honey Bee Lab. She has had many roles in the lab over the years, including apiary manager, developer of the Oregon Master Beekeeper Program, instructor for university classes and community beekeepers, and researcher of the many different issues that honey bees face. Most of all, she loves to help beekeepers successfully manage their colonies so they can enjoy all that honey bees have to offer.

 Southern Oregon Beekeepers Association meets on the first TUESDAY of  April at SOREC at 569 Hanley Road in Central Point, OR 97502. Meetings are on the first MONDAY of May, June, July, and August at the same location.
